"Zikr Wa Du`â"

This is not a Mevlevi Awrâd (collection of litanies to be recited daily--of verses from the Qur'an, with or without Ahadith prayers of the Prophet Muhammad). Rather, it is a contemporary collection of verses from the Qur'an compiled by the Afghan scholar and diplomat, Dr. Rawan Farhadi (and co-translator of "The Quatrains of Rumi," 2008). It is an inspiring selection, divided into seven sections for recitation every morning of the week. It is based on a lifetime of study and love of the Holy Qur'an, and highly recommended.

For those who do not read Arabic script, a version of the collection of verses has been made in transliterated Arabic. This can also be used as an aid for those learning to read the Arabic script of the Qur'an--by opening it up in a second window.
